Published in 1975, so a little dated. How did we ever solve crimes before CSI teams, DNA searches, computers, cell phone pictures, and the Internet? Through understanding people and their crimes. The Ruth Rendall series is worth going back to because the characters are so interesting and because what she thought of as very enlightened thinking at the time (and it really was) seems so stilted today.
