If you like historical dramas, this is an excellent choice. Having never read about the serfs and the nobility of the 19th century in Russia, this book was extremely informative and clearly illustrates how and why the Russian people eventually got rid of their tsar. The author, Linda Holeman, has a wonderful writing style and, although the book has well over five hundred pages, it was easy to read in less than three days. Highly recommended.
