"This Is Where I Leave You" is a book that pulled at both ends of the emotional spectrum for me. I laughed hard (usually at the potty humor) and teared up (thinking about the loss of a parent when I realize I'm the same age as the narrator is a little bit of a punch to the gut!) At the same time, I felt like the book didn't delve as deeply as it could of into loss and family relationships (or maybe it does, but just doesn't spend as much time with the characters I was most interested in?) Still, I'm glad I picked it up and can see how it probably transferred easily to the big screen. Can't wait to check out the movie!
